Job Description

The Data Scientist at UniAir Cargo will lead data-driven initiatives that enhance logistics processes and optimize operational efficiency. This role involves planning and executing projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and developing machine learning models to address key business challenges. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing projects, following through the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, project team members, and partners to define business and technical requirements and specifications.
  • Translating requirements into project deliverables and setting priorities with the project team.
  • Developing and implementing machine learning models to solve logistics and operational challenges.
  • Leading functional discussions, leveraging expertise in data science best practices.
  • Conducting Research & Development on AI/ML advancements to support ongoing project needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Science or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, including Deep Learning, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Generative AI.
  • Proven experience in delivering successful projects related to AI or machine learning.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
  • Self-motivated, with a passion for continuous learning in the fast-evolving field of AI/ML.
