As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team on a contract basis at our Bintaro, South Tangerang office.
Role Description
This Data Scientist role involves working within Indonesia Indicator’s data analytics team to extract, process, and analyze data, contributing to our intelligence insights and reporting initiatives. In this contract-based role, you will work on tasks spanning data extraction, reporting, and basic business intelligence support, all aimed at enhancing our data-driven services.
Data Extraction & Processing
- Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Python or Apache frameworks.
- Handle small to medium-sized datasets from multiple sources to produce concise, insightful reports.
Reporting & Visualization
- Create reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel and Tableau, translating data into visually compelling insights.
- Generate descriptive reports for internal purposes, emphasizing key business metrics.
Collaboration
- Work alongside other teams to gather data requirements and support project needs.
- Engage in small projects with oversight, contributing valuable insights and analyses.
Basic BI Tools Proficiency
- Use Excel, Google Sheets, and basic BI tools for simple data analysis.
- Apply foundational knowledge of data modeling within a data warehouse to provide essential feedback.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, IT, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Python and Tableau is essential.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL and NoSQL.
- Skilled in data manipulation, cleaning, and basic data analysis.
- Strong background in data visualization and reporting.
- Foundational knowledge of machine learning techniques.
- Ability to understand mathematical notation, formulas, and algorithms.
- Interest in statistical data, logical modeling, and predictive analytics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
